The Street Wall Journal

Victoria and Albert Museum,

DESCRIZIONE

The ""wall newspaper""- style poster was an inexpensive yet effective way for politically active youths of the 1960s and 1970s to reach a wide audience. Once their manifesto was printed on a large sheet of paper, it could be displayed on American college campuses and city streets for all passers-by to read. The title of this left-wing paper intentionally references its ideological opposite, the Wall Street Journal.
